Illinois and Arizona is home to GhostLand Society Paranormal Investigations. Ghost Hunting, demonology and all around anomalies we are here to assist you in you time of need. Highly qualified staff of investigators can assist in all aspects within the realm of the paranormal and unexplained. With many years in this field our group is not one of those run of the mill ones copying a TV show. Our Illinois team primarily serve clients in Lake, Cook, McHenry, Boone, DuPage, Will, Kane, Walworth and Kenosha counties in southern Wisconsin and our Arizona team covers the Tucson,Tombstone and neighboring communities. However, we are open to scheduling an investigation anywhere as long as schedules and time permits. Over the last two decades we have also investigated in 48 states and parts of Canada.
GhostLand Society was founded in 1990 for the purpose of attempting to understand the mysterious world of the paranormal. The group has done coast to coast investigations and of course our local folklore such as Mary “Bloody Mary” Worth of Gurnee, the “Gate” in Libertyville to Chicagoland’s favorite hitchhiking ghost Resurrection Mary, Al Capone locations throughout Chicagoland and the far North Burbs. Boot Hill, Aztec House, Big Nose Kate’s, the Bird Cage, Shieffelin Hall and many other historic sites in the Old West have just as much if not more folklore that peaks many people’s interest and the activity in Tombstone is fantastic
We are also registered in Lake County and the State of Illinois as a Nonprofit business. By doing this it is just one more way of proving we are legit when we say, GhostLand Society offers our services FREE of charge.
All information obtained is held in up most respect to your privacy! We DO NOT disclose any information to anyone including but not limited to Address, Name, location, our findings or lack of without your prior knowledge and submitted in writing. And remember there is NO COST FOR OUR SERVICES.
What GhostLand Society will never do is push the idea of a haunting, Nor do we assist in making a location “Haunted” as asked by a few businesses to bring in more customers.
What we do is offer the most logical conclusion for the happenings and never claim something that is not. GhostLand Society has been in good standing for 20 years for NOT making up stories.
Members of GhostLand Society are all volunteers. No member receives any type of compensation for their participation and each member provides his/her personal time and equipment. As a non profit organization we seek out only those people with the highest level of commitment to the field of Paranormal Investigation and Research. Members must be able to commit time and effort not only for investigations but also for evidence review after the investigation. Each member is held to a very high standard of personal conduct as a representative of GhostLand Society. Our members consist of retired police officers, firefighters, Doctrine holders, students, security specialists, medical professions, students, and a few other walks of life.
