A bit of trivia : Second longest running group in the the state and the longest running in Northern Illinois / Southern Wisconsin.
GhostLand Society has been investigating reported paranormal activity for now over 3 decades, long before the more recent influx of the popular and imitated, made for TV “Ghost Hunting” shows.
In this time we have had occasion to investigate throughout the United States and parts of Canada, UK and Caribbean although the bulk of our investigations are done in Illinois/Wisconsin.
Through the years we have the opportunity to investigate some of the most notorious local folklore “Hauntings”, such as Mary “Bloody Mary” Worth of Gurnee, “The Gate” in Libertyville, Chicagolands favorite hitchhiking ghost, Resurrection Mary, Al Capone’s Haunts throughout the Chicagoland area, and in Arizona, Boot Hill, Aztec House, Big Nose Kates, The Bird Cage and Shieffelin Hall, just to name a few.
Please feel free to contact us through this site, email or phone if you feel you have possible paranormal activity, for advice or just to have a few of your questions answered.
