A bit of trivia : In Northern Illinois / Southern Wisconsin, this is the oldest group in the state and the second longest standing group overall.
In contrast, GhostLand Society has been investigating paranormal activity for over three decades, long before the influx of popular and imitated TV shows like “Ghost Hunting”.
Over the years, we have carried out investigations throughout the United States, as well as Canada, the United Kingdom and the Caribbean, although they are primarily located in Illinois/Wisconsin.
Our investigation of some of the most notorious folklore “Hauntings” has led us to discover some of the most famous ghosts, such as Mary “Bloody Mary” Worth of Gurnee, “The Gate” in Libertyville, Chicagoland’s favorite hitchhiking ghost, Resurrection Mary, Al Capone’s haunts throughout the Chicagoland area, as well as Boot Hill, Aztec House, Big Nose Kates, Bird Cage, Shieffelin Hall, just to name a few of Arizona’s haunts.
You can contact us through this site, by email or by phone if you think there may be paranormal activity in your home, if you need advice or simply have some questions answered.
